IN RE: ALEXANDER MCLACHLAN. DECEASED SECOND. I give and bequeath all my household furniture goods, chattels and effects to my said daughter Annie Violet McLachlan absolutely THIRD I give and bequeath all my purely personal effects to my son Alfred A. McLachlan absolutely FOURTH I direct that all my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses expenses and death duties be paid out of the residue of my estate and subject thereto I give and bequeath said residue to my four children, share and share alike provided always that if any child of mine shall die in my lifetime leaving a child or children who shall survive me such child or children shall take (and if more than one equally between them) the share which his, her or their parent would have taken in such residue if such parent had survived me. FIFTH I appoint my said daughter Annie Violet McLachlan and Robert Dawe of St. John's, aforesaid Insurance Agent Executrix and Executor respectively of this my Will. IN WITNESS WHEREOF: I the said Alexander McLachlan have Hereunto set my hand at St. John's aforesaid this Second ------- day of October - Anno Domini One thousand nine hundred and twenty-two. A.
