Adelaide Squires

In re: ADELAIDE SQUIRES. DECEASED.

This is the last will and testament of me Adelaide Squires of Topsail, Newfoundland.

My dwelling house, household furniture, and the enclosed land on which my dwelling house stands I leave to be sold by the person whom I shall name as my executor.

From the proceeds of my property sold, and the money that I may die possessed of - after my funeral expenses are defrayed - a headstone or slab is to be erected to the memory of my deceased husband Samuel Squires, and another to my own memory. A headstone is to be erected to the memory of the late Charles Squires of Manuels, and another to my deceased father, Nicholas metcalf. The balance of the money belonging to my estate I leave to the Church of England at Topsail, to be used at the discretion of the Incumbent in charge of the Mission, and I appoint William J. Healey executor of this my will.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of February in the year of Our Lord One thousand nine hundred and twenty four.
