Will of John W. Withers of St. John's
In re 
John W.Withers  deceased

This is the last Will and Testament of me John W.Withers of St.John's in the Island of newfoundland Kings Printer.  I give and bequeath unto William Boland a Compositor in my Printing Office of many years standing the sum of Five Hundred Dollars and all the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects, of whatsoever discription and wheresoever situate, I give and bequeath unto my wife Emma Hoyles Withers to hold the same in her own right absolutely and forever Subject never the less to the payment of the sum or annuity I have already provided for and made payable to my daughter Helen Colville wife of Mansel Colvile amounting to One thousand five hundred dollars. And I nominate and appoint my wife as sole Executrix of this my said last Will and Testament. 
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St. John's aforesaid this twenty eighth day of March Anno Domini One thousand nine hundred and twenty one

Signed by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who, present at the same time in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
