Charles E. Meehan deceased.
The last Will and Testament of Charles Edward Meehan of Saint John's
in the Island of Newfoundland Bank Clerk. In the name of God.
Amen. I Charles Edward Meehan of Saint John's in the Island of Newfoundland
Bank Clerk being of sound health of body and mind do hereby make ordain
publish and declare this as and for my last Will and Testament.
First. I hereby revoke all former and other Wills I may have
made.
Second. I will that all my funeral and testamentary expenses
be paid.
Third. I will that all and every my just and lawful debts be
paid.
Fourth. I give and bequeath to my Executrix hereinafter named
in trust for my beloved son John Francis Meehan my gold watch and chain.
Fifth. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Ellen Meehan
all my other goods chattels monies and effects of every description whatsoever
of which I am now or may at the time of my death be possessed.
Sixth. I give and bequeath to my said wife all monies which may
be paid to my Executrix hereinafter named or may be had obtained or recovered
under and by virtue of all policies of Life Insurance which I now or at
the time of my death may have upon my life.
Lastly. I hereby appoint my said wife Mary Ellen Meehan to be
the sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. Charles Edward
Meehan.

as and for his last Will and Testament on the twenty fourth day of April
Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine in the presence
of us the undersigned who have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto
