This is the last will and testament of me George Richard Lilly residing in St. John's Ex Stipendeary Magistrate at Trinity and elsewhere.  I appoint of brother-in-law the Honorable Marmaduke George Winter to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament  -  I desire that after the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses any chattels and effects shall be disposed of in the manner set forth [except certain silverware which was given to my children by their mother under her Will] my own silverware and cutlery and other effects to be divided equally between my three daughters and son Hugh  -  I give and bequeath to my said Executor the sum of two thousand dollars to my youngest daughter Hilda Flora Lilly to my daughter Beatrice Eliza Noel the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars.  To my daughter Clara Alice Bahrens of Chicago the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars.  To my Executor in trust for the benefit of my five grand children Ralph M. Noel, Frank L Noel, George E. Bahrens, Richard A. Bahrens, and George R. Lilly the sum of one hundred   dollars each, towards their education.  I also give and bequeath to the trustees of the C. of E. Orphanage the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars.  To the trustees of the Methodist Orphanage one hundred dollars.  To the RC Orphanage at Belvedere fifty dollars to the ladies of the Dorcas Society fifty dollars and to my sister Helen B. Lilly the sum of five hundred dollars.  I also give and bequeath to my three daughters and son Hugh all my silverware and cutlery share and share alike, and the rest, residue and remainder of my estate.  I also give and bequeath to the aforesaid daughters and son Hugh.  In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name at St. John's this 19th day of July A.D. 1899.  G.
