Petition of Isabel L. Fox - Estate of James P. Fox |
TO THE HONOURABLE THE SUPREME
COURT OR ONE OF THE HONOURABLES THE JUDGES THEREOF. The Petition of Isabel L. Fox of Saint John’s in the Island of Newfoundland, Widow, humbly sheweth as follows: - That James P. Fox of Saint John’s in the island aforesaid died at the above place on Monday the 27th day of February last having previously made and executed a holograph will which is hereto annexed proven upon the oath of E. P. Morris of Saint John’s Queens Counsel. That under the said will your Petitioner is appointed sole executrix. That said decease left him surviving your Petitioner and four children all under the age of fifteen years. That at the time of his death said deceased was possessed of property within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court of the probable value of $7000.00. That no Probate to any will nor Letters of Administration has been granted to any person. Petitioner therefore prays that Probate to his said will may be granted to her and as in duty bound she will (this part is cut off. It should probably continue with ‘ever pray”.) Dated at Saint John’s this 7th day of March A.D. 1899. Isabel Langrishe
