In the name of God Amen.  I, Edmund G. Chafe of Petty Harbor in the Electoral District of St. John's West, fisherman, do make publish and declare this as and for my last will and testament. First.  I hereby bequeath to my wife Drucilla Chafe all my goods monies properties estate and effects of every nature and kind of which I may die possessed for her own use and benefit and Secondly I hereby appoint my said wife Drucilla Chafe to be the Executrix of this my will.  Edmund G.
