In re
Anna Fanny W. Pippy deceased I Anna Fanny Woods, Pippy of the city of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. 1st. I hereby appoint my two sons Wilfred John Woods and George Vater any my daughter Olive, to be my co-executors of this my last will. 2nd. The house known as 92 Freshwater Road and all lands in connection therewith, are to be valued at a rental of $250.00 per annum and subject to a tithe of 10 percent per annum on said rental, said tithe to be handed yearly to the minister in charge of the Cooktown Road S.D.A. Church in remembrance of me. 3rd. The bungalow now being built, when completed and free from all indebtedness, a tithe of the same amount yearly to be paid, and in the same manner in all respects as that applying to the house 92 Freshwater Road. 4th. At the death of my husband Joseph Pippy, I give and bequeath the properties above named to Wilfred, Olive and Vater in equal shares or thirds. 5th. I give devise and bequeath my interest in my father's estate whatever it may bring annually [to be first tithed] as the above to my children, Wilfred, Olive and Vater in equal shares or thirds. 6th. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Olive, all my personal effects of whatever nature except the piano. 7th. I give devise and bequeath to my granddaughter, Jean Pippy daughter of my son Wilfred, my piano. 8th. All the residue of my estate both personal and real not here(?) before disposed of I give devise and bequeath to my children Wilfred, Olive and Vater in equal shares or thirds, however they are to be first tithed [as above] before being divided. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 10th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen. [sgd] Anna F. Pippy. Signed Published and Declared by the said Anna Fanny Woods Pippy the testator as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us both present together at the same time, and in her presence at her request, and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution thereof.
