Will of William J. Moore of St. John's |
In re
William J. Moore deceased This is the last will and Testament of me William J. Moore of
St. John's in the island of Newfoundland. Clerk. I appoint
William Cook Esquire of St. John's aforesaid to be the executor of this
my will. I bequeath my dwelling house situate on Circular Road in
St. John's aforesaid to my wife Laura Moore in trust for herself and my
children Gertie, Gordon and Edward and I direct that in the event of the
said dwelling house being sold the purchase money thereof shall be divided
equally between my said wife and each of my said children and I further
direct that the said dwelling house shall not be mortgaged or otherwise
incumbered except for the benefit of my said wife and children. I
bequeath my policy in the sum Life Assurance Company of Canada to my executor
in trust to pay therefrom all my just debts and liabilities and I direct
that the balance remaining after the payment of my said debts shall be
deposited in the Newfoundland Savings Bank to the credit of my estate and
that my executor shall pay over the same to my said wife in three equal
annual installments. I bequeath all my shares and interest in the
Nelson Loan and Investment Company Limited to my said wife. I bequeath
all my household furniture, housekeeping items and all other personal goods
and chattels of which I shall die possessed to my said wife. In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirty-first day of December A.D.
1910 in the presence of the undersigned witnesses
