Will of George H. Bishop of St. John's

George H. Bishop  deceased

This is the last Will and Testament of me George H. Bishop of St. John's in the island of Newfoundland. Volunteer(?) I appoint Charles H. Emerson of St. John's aforesaid Registrar of the Supreme Court to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament. I direct that all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses to be first paid out of my estate. I give and bequeath unto my sister Olive Bishop the Newfoundland Government Debenture in the amount of $1,000.00 held by the Supreme Court for me. I give and bequeath unto my mother Mary E. Bulley the sum of five hundred dollars to be paid to her in Newfoundland Debentures or moneys held by the Supreme Court for me. I give and bequeath the rest residue and remainder of my estate to my sister Olive Bishop. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 16th day of May A.D. 1917- George H Bishop- signed published and declared by the said testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us, who at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
