I Patrick Power, fishermen of Caplin Bay, District of Ferryland in the Island of Newfoundland, do make publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament as follows: First after my lawful debts are paid I give to my beloved wife Sarah Power the house in which we now reside situated at Caplin Bay, Ferryland District, Newfoundland, also the land in front of and in rear of aforesaid house.  Also one cow, also all the household furniture, also one horse and cart, one sleigh and one carriage.  Also all the money which I am owner of and that at the death of my said wife, all of the property hereby devised or bequeathed to her as aforesaid or so much thereof as may then  remain unexpended. I give as follows: I give to Catherine Mary Power of Michael, of Caplin Bay Ferryland District Newfoundland the house in which we now reside also the land in front and rear of aforesaid, also one cow.  I give to Patrick Joseph Power of Michael of Caplin Bay, Ferryland District, Newfoundland one horse and cart, one sleigh and one carriage.  I give to Sister Lucy Shallow of the Sisters of the Poor Twenty dollars.  I give to Sister Benedict Shallow of the Sisters of the Poor, Twenty dollars.  I give to Rev. Father Veriker, Roman Catholic Priest Ferryland Twenty dollars for Masses for my and my wife's souls I give to Rev. Father Walsh Roman Catholic Priest Renews, Twenty dollars for Masses for my and my wife's souls.  I give to Rev. Father Rawlins, Roman Catholic priest Cape Broyle Twenty dollars for Masses for my and my wife's souls.  I give to Rev. Father McNamara Roman Catholic Priest Burin, Twenty dollars for Masses for my and my wife's souls.  I give to Rev. Monsignor Rearden, Roman Catholic Priest Placentia Twenty dollars for Masses for my and my wife's souls.  I give to Rev. Father O'Brien Roman Catholic Priest, Tors Cove Ten dollars for Masses for my and my wife's souls.  I give to Rev. Father Roche Roman Catholic Priest Witless Bay Ten dollars for Masses for my and my wife's souls.  I give to Rev. Father Kelly Roman Catholic Priest St. John's Ten dollars for Masses for my and my wife's souls.  What ever money is left after the aforesaid gifts are paid and after all funeral expenses are paid I give the balance of the money to be equally divided amongst Catherine Mary Power of Michael, Patrick Joseph Power of Michael, Margaret Ann Delahurtz(?) daughter of Michael Power and Mary Alice Sullivan daughter of Michael Power.  I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Sarah Power and Richard Delahurz(?)
