In re
Michael Vicars deceased Know all by these presents that I Michael Vicars of Logy Bay in the district of St. John's East fishermen farmer being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament. First I give and bequeath to my oldest daughter Katherin Kavanah seven acres of land on the north est end of the farm from the road to the river bounded on the north by the road leading to the rocky hills on the South by John Dyers farm and on the north East by Mary Ann Stokes land. Second I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Nugent two acres of land from the road to the spring well in the north to join onto her sister Katherin's land Third I give and bequeath to my only son William Vicars all the remaining part of the land from Mary Nugent's part of the land to my sister Margaret Cadigan land bounded on the north by the road and on the South by John Dyers land on the west by my sister Margaret's land the dwelling house and all the outhouses milk cart and harness all so my son William Vicars is bound to support his mother while she lives and bury her decent when she dies. She is to have full control, of her part of the house. My son William is bound to care for my wife while she lives and he is to have the ware all so. Forth I appoint Michael Cadigan of Logy Bay my friend William O'Donnell of Logy Bay James Cavanaugh of Logy Bay Executors of this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Michael Vicars set my hand and seal hereunto this the first day of June A.D. 1916. Michael Vicars X. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Michael Vicars as and for his last will and Testament in presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
