In re
Robert P. Holloway deceased. This is the last will and testament of me Robert P. Holloway of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Photographer, but at present a Lieutenant in the Newfoundland Regiment. First. I give and bequeath and confirm to my mother Henrietta Holloway the proceeds of my life insurance policy No. 2184302 in the New York Life Insurance Company. Second. I give and bequeath fifty of my shares in the Holloway Studio Limited to my sister Elizabeth Holloway upon the condition that she shall forego her claim against me for the unpaid purchase money and interest for shares in said company to the extent of two hundred and fifty dollars; should my said sister not be willing to forego her claim to the extent foresaid I direct that the said fifty shares shall be part of my residuary estate. Third. I give and bequeath two of my shares in the Holloway Studio Limited to Charles P. Ayre Esq. of Ayre and Sons Limited if he will accept same. If the said Charles P. Ayre will not accept said shares I direct that they shall be part of my residuary estate. Fourth. Out of of the residue of my estate I direct that there be paid all my debts funeral and testamentry expenses and death duties including such sum or sums as I may at the time of my death owe my said mother and sister in respect of shares in the Holloway Studio Limited and interest on purchase money thereof [Subject as respects my said sister to the deduction of two hundred and fifty dollars mentioned above should she accept the said bequest of fifty shares] and subject to said payments I give devise and bequeath the said residue of my estate to my wife Agnes Isabel Holloway. Fifth. I appoint my said wife Agnes Isabel Holloway Sole Executrix of this my will. In witness whereof I the said Robert P. Holloway have to this my will set my hand this thirty first day of March Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and sixteen. R. P. Holloway. Signed by the above named Robert P. Holloway as his last will in the presence of us, both present at the same time, who at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
