Will of Robert Clarke of St. John's
In re                      
Robert Clarke deceased.

This is the last Will and Testament of me, Robert Clarke, of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Farmer.  I revoke all former Wills by me at any time made and I appoint Bennett Stafford of St. John's aforesaid, Druggist, the Executor of this my Will.  I direct that my just debts and my funeral and testamentary expenses shall be paid out of my estate.  I give and bequeath my pony and carriage and sleigh and harness to Lily Stafford sister of my Executor.  I give and bequeath to Henry Inder, Telegraph Operator, nephew of my late wife, the sum of One hundred dollars.  I give and bequeath to my sister Selina Latty, of Bradpole near Bridport, Dorsetshire, England, if living the sum of one hundred dollars.  All the rest residue and remainder of my property I give and bequeath in equal shares to all my nephews and nieces, children of my three sisters Annie Spiller, Sarah Marsh, and Selina Latty.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St. John's aforesaid this eleventh day of January A.D. 1919.  Robert Clarke.  Signed published and declared by the testator as and for his last will and testament in presence of us, both being present at the same time, who in his presence and at his request hereunto subscribe ourselves as witnesses attesting the due execution hereof.  Chas O'Neill Conroy.  K.
