Will of Thomas Brien of St. John's
In re 
Thomas Brien   deceased

I Tos Brien, of the city of St. John's Nfld being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make my last will and testament and form following,

First.  The downstairs of my house situated at 37 Jobs Street I bequeath to my son John.

Second.  The upstairs part of my house and all its contents I leave to my daughter Mary Kent, until her death, and after her death same to revert to my son John.

Third.  What money I have in the house shall go towards my burial expenses, and what money I have in Bank shall go towards procuring a rail and monument for my grave.

Fourth.  What money is left after my funeral and other small amounts which I may owe shall go towards masses for my late wife and myself. 

[sgd]  Tos his X mark Brien   -    signed, sealed and delivered by the above named Tos Brien  as my last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names.
