Will of John Davis of Collinett
In re 
John Davis  deceased

In the name of God Amen.  I John Davis of Collinett in St. Mary's Bay Newfoundland Planter being in sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say  I give to Joseph Brien one cow with the use of one half of all my nets and boats with their craft &c as long as he shall remain in Collinett with my nephew William Davis.  And I allso give to my nephew William Davis 4 cows with the other half of all my netts boats &c with all my right and title to the Salmon Fishery in Collinett Arm after all my just debts and funeral expences are paid.  Lastly I do make and constitute J.W. Martin and Geo. Coles my executors of this my last will and testament dated this first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven,  John Davis [LS]

In case Joseph Brien mentioned in this will should at any time leave Collinett his half of the said netts Boats  &c. is to devolve on the said William Davis.
