Will of Denis Sweeny of Bell Isle

Denis Sweeny  deceased

In presence of those under mentioned, in the name of the Almighty God, I Dennis Sweeny do make my last will in my natural sences, I will all my property both cattle houses and land and everything belonging to me moveable and unmoveable on Bell Isle to Thomas Brien of Bell Isle, the said Thomas Brien is to pay my debts according to my account, also he is to pay the clergy 40/- per year for 16 years,  Also Thomas Brien is give to John Bowderan the Brown Heffer that I bought from himself Likewise Patrick Bowderan is not to see kill or make away with the said Heffer until John Bowderan is of age all this I Will it in presence of  Given under my hand on Bell Isle this 10th day of January in the year of our Lord God 1829.  Dennis his X mark Sweeney.
