Will of Martha Pynn of Quidi Vidi
In re 
Martha Pynn  deceased
 This is the last will and testament of me Martha Pynn of Quidi Vidi widow.

1.  I devise and bequeath to the Reverend Edgar Janes, Rector of St. Thomas's Parish, Saint John's and his successors in office the dwelling house and land, waterside property and fishing premises situate at Quidi Vidi formerly belonging to my late husband Emanuel Pynn upon trust for the use and benefit of the Church of England orphanage in Saint John's with power to realize the same in their discretion.

2.  I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my property, monies, estate and effects of every description to my three brothers, my three sisters and my niece Lydia Gent, all sharing equally.  The share or shares of any predeceasing me to go to the survivors, I appoint the said Lydia Gent Executrix of this my last will  -  Witness my hand this 5th day of December Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.  -  [sgd] Martha Pynn.
