Edward Hiscock deceased
In the name of God Amen I Edward Hiscock of Chamberlains in the
Electoral District of Harbor Main being very sick and weak in body but
of perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament.
First I give and bequeath to my son Eli who has taken care of me and
helped me in my old days all the land that was given and bequeathed to
me by my father the late Edward Hiscock Bound on the North by the
Waters of Conception Bay West by James Hiscock East by George Hiscock and
South by Joseph Mercer - I give and bequeath to my three sons Joseph, Frank
and Eli that piece of partially cleared land situated on Chamberlains ridge
to be equally divided between them. The said piece of land was granted
to me the 19th July A.D. 1888 the number of the grant is 5875 and the said
land is bound on the East by Chamberlains Country road, North by Tobias
Mercers, South by Samuel Cheater and West by Crown land and contains 20
acres and one road. And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul
all and every other former Testaments, wills and Bequests by me in any
wise before named, willed and bequeathed, ratifying and confirming this,
and no other, to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 7th day of August in the year
of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen -Edward his X mark

Edward Hiscock having been first read over to him, at his last Will and
Testament, in the presence of us, who in his presence, and in the presence
of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
