Will of Andrew Keough of Caplin Bay

 
In re 
Andrew Keough     deceased. 

 This is the last will and testament of me, Andrew Keough of Caplin Bay in the Electoral District of Ferryland and Southern District of Newfoundland, Planter etc. 

I appoint the Honorable Michael Patrick Cashin of Cape Broyle in the said District to be my executor. 
I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Kate O'Connell, or Keough all my property, moveable and immoveable, consisting of money in Savings Bank of Bank of Montreal and in Government Savings Bank, my house, and all furniture etc. therein, my waterside property, icehouses, wharf, land, horse, cattle, etc. etc. for her absolute use during her lifetime.  After her death everything is to go to my son James O'Connell Keough for his sole use and benefit.  In the event of my wife, Mrs. Kate Keough, contracting another marriage she is to forfeit all claims to money and property in favor of my son James O'Connell Keough. 

In witness whereof, I the said Andrew Keough have to this my last will and testament set my name this second day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Signed by the testator, Andrew Keough and acknowledged by him to be his last will and testament in the presence of us, present at the same time, who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses.
